Fourth Food Drive

In early December, we decided to host yet another food drive. Every time we've done these, the community always seems to want to help out more. On Sunday, December 14th, we passed out flyers to about 200 houses. We also posted on Next Door letting our community know that they could also go to Hunakai Park and drop off food there. On Saturday, December 19th, we went around and picked up the food. We got to meet so many new members of our neighborhood and their smiles made the work all worth it. Also, the Hawaii Foodbank never has enough food, especially with the holidays coming up. We ended up with about 845 pounds of food and items!
