What are the UN SDG Global Goals?

The United Nations’ Global Goals consist of 17 SDGs- SDGs, standing for Sustainable Development Goals. These 17 goals were created in September of 2015 by world leaders at a historic UN Summit. These 17 goals were put together in hopes they would be met by 2030, globally.

  • No One Should Go Hungry

    Targeting Global Goal #2: Zero Hunger. Zero Hunger is aiming to eliminate hunger in anyone & ensuring everyone has a meal to eat when hungry. Not only is the goal aiming to eliminate hunger, but it’s also working towards ensuring there is sustainable agriculture & nutritious food available.

  • It's Okay To Not Be Okay

    Targeting Global Goal #3: UN Sustainable Development Goal 3 focuses on ensuring good health and well-being for all individuals, and it holds particular significance for student-athletes concerning their mental health. Student-athletes face unique challenges as they juggle academic pressures alongside rigorous training and competition schedules, which can easily take a toll on their mental well-being.
